Automatically tag messages

Auto Tag is available to ProTool users and is used to automatically tag messages that match specific criteria.

How to add a new Auto Tag:

1. Select either:

• From user - all messages from the specified user will be tagged.
• Word/Hashtag/@mention - all messages that include the specified keyword, hashtag or mention the @username will be tagged.

2. Search criteria - enter the chosen @username, word or #hashtag.

3. Tag - select existing Tags from the drop-down menu or click on +New tag to create a new one.

4. Create - click on the button to create your Auto Tag.

Auto Tag takes the pain out of tagging multiple messages in Moderation individually.

This feature is especially useful if you plan on using Photo Grid (to display a set of images) and can also help you categorize messages for using with our Gamification options like Contests and Leaderboards. 

Use Auto Tag with Photo Grid to periodically show collections of images from a user or with a specific theme/hashtag. 

Running a Contest or thinking of using the Leaderboard features, but only want people included who use a specific keyword or hashtag?

Organizing some Q&A sessions and need to make sure the right questions are available for the right session?

Auto Tag can automatically tag any messages that include that criteria, rather than you or a member of your team manually tagging each individual message - really useful for #selfie competitions too!
